Our digitally designed and robotically prefabricated earth-timber floor system delivers high architectural quality and unrivalled sustainability as well as unmatched living comfort at lower cost. Our solution stores up to 1 ton of CO₂ per cubic meter of timber instead of emitting it. And it preserves the value of used materials for generations to come. With a unique combination of regenerative materials and advanced manufacturing, we bring circular, beautiful and healthy buildings to people and the planet at industrial scale.
Rematter's earth-timber floor slabs are our first milestone towards wide-spread adoption of regeneratinve building practices that are resource- and climate positive. As structural floors account for around 65% of a building’s structural mass, they are the biggest problem to tackle first and single biggest lever for positive change.
